Our Commitment

Our commitment is driven by two key principles. We believe it’s wrong to deny people opportunities based on extraneous aspects of their personal background or identity. We understand that a more diverse DRJ community is a stronger DRJ community. Different perspectives bring different insights. We can do a better job of serving our stakeholders—the global business continuity community—if our conferences and thought leadership are an accurate reflection of today’s diverse world.

Your insights

Specifically, we are asking for volunteers to serve on a board whose mission will be to help us turn our commitment into action; board members will share their insights and help us develop programs and initiatives to that end. We anticipate board meetings will be held once a month. Members’ names and photographs will appear on a page of our web site. Board members will have the opportunity to make a significant positive impact at DRJ and potentially across our entire industry.

Are you thoughtful and knowledgeable about DEI issues and programs? Do you share our commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion at DRJ and throughout the BC industry? Are you a member of a group that has typically been underrepresented in BC? Are you interested in helping the BC profession and industry generally adapt to the reality of a more diverse world? Have you had experience in developing DEI programming at other organizations?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, or you simply want to contribute to this vital area, we would love to hear from you. Please fill out and submit the form below indicating your interest.
