Synergy, an Accretive Company, Welcomes Laura Ledbetter and Matthew Landess to Their Growing Team of Industry Leaders
ORLANDO, Fla. – Accretive Insurance Solutions, a nationwide collection of leading independent, niche-focused specialty and wholesale insurance providers and administrators, is proud to announce that Laura Ledbetter and Matthew Landess have joined the Synergy team. Synergy, an Accretive company, is a wholesale insurance intermediary dedicated to management and executive liability, including cyber and technology lines of coverage, as well as program development and a specialist in placing liability insurance for hard-to-place law firms.
Laura Ledbetter joins Synergy as Vice President of Business Development, West Coast. In this role, Ledbetter’s primary focus will be working closely with retail agent partners, providing best-in-class coverage and consultation within the cyber/technology and professional liability space. Additionally, Ledbetter will be working on expanding Synergy’s service offerings as the marketplace continues to rapidly change and the cyber coverage needs of clients evolves.
Before joining Synergy, Ledbetter was the cyber product leader at AssuredPartners, assisting brokers to effectively cross-serve their clients and transfer cyber risk to high-performing insurance carriers.

Matthew Landess joins Synergy as Vice President. Landess will focus on management and executive liability lines for the West and Mountain West regions. Before joining Synergy, Landess was a manager at Arch, overseeing a team of underwriters serving their Central region. In that role, Landess developed an extensive professional network of underwriters across different carriers and lines of business. He has extensive experience with public and private companies, as well as financial institutions. Between Landess’ professional network and experience with multiple lines of coverage, he will facilitate Synergy’s development of additional relationships with agents and carriers to drive the company’s expansion and growth.
Landess explained, “I’m excited to be part of Synergy’s dynamic team, as I’m looking forward to building out and expanding our retail agent network in the West region. We’ve had tremendous growth within Accretive wholesale, and the build-out of the West is another step aimed at double-digit organic growth.”
