Anetac Marks Its First Year with Explosive Channel Partner Growth and Identity Security Market Momentum

by Jon Seals | May 7, 2025 | | 0 comments

  • Channel partnerships drive 277% increase in customer ARR expansion within 6 months
  • Company earns seven industry awards for innovation in identity security

Identity vulnerabilities represent critical security gaps where machine identities (service accounts, APIs, tokens) and human identities (employees, contractors, partners) become pathways for attackers. Without dynamic visibility into these evolving risks, organizations remain exposed to privilege escalation, lateral movement attacks and unauthorized access to crown jewel assets.

After launching publicly in May 2024 with $16 million in funding, the company has expanded globally through strategic partnerships that have substantially contributed to revenue growth and market penetration worldwide.

Channel Growth Drives Business Momentum

Anetac’s 100% channel-focused business model has delivered impressive results, with customers expanding their deployments and increasing annual recurring revenue by 277% in less than six months. The company’s partner-led assessment program has achieved an 84% customer conversion rate, demonstrating the compelling value of its identity security solutions.

“Our channel-first approach has proven to be a major success factor in our growth strategy, allowing us to rapidly expand our global footprint while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction,” said Tim Eades, CEO and co-founder at Anetac. “By empowering our partners with our Identity Vulnerability Management Platform, we’ve been able to deliver exceptional value to customers across diverse industries and geographies.”

“The growth of non-human identities presents significant security challenges for organizations across all industries,” said Michael Nouguier, Partner – Cybersecurity Services & CISO at Richey May Cyber. “Partnering with Anetac has transformed our ability to provide comprehensive identity security solutions to our clients. Anetac’s Identity Vulnerability Management Platform gives our customers unprecedented visibility into service account and human identity access chains, allowing them to efficiently map, monitor, and secure identity pathways while ensuring compliance and minimizing security risks.”

The growth of cloud environments and digital transformation has dramatically expanded the attack surface for identity-based threats. Anetac has partnered with organizations in financial services, healthcare, critical infrastructure, education and retail to provide visibility and protection against these evolving security challenges.

Industry Recognition and Award-Winning Innovation

Over the past year, Anetac has received seven industry awards, highlighting its innovative approach to identity security. These include the 2025 Cybersecurity Excellence Award in the Identity and Access Management category and Enterprise Security Tech’s 2024 Cybersecurity Top Innovation Award.

In November, Anetac received five major cybersecurity awards, highlighting its innovative approach to identity security. The company won four categories in Cyber Defense Magazine’s 2024 InfoSec Awards: Cybersecurity Visionary, Identity Security, Identity Security Posture Management, and Machine Identity Management. Additionally, Anetac was named Identity Management Platform of the Year in the 2024 Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards.

“These awards validate our transformation of the identity security landscape,” Eades said. “Having our dynamic approach recognized by leading infosec experts is particularly meaningful as we address one of cybersecurity’s most critical challenges—mitigating vulnerabilities in both human and non-human identities. The human layer remains the weakest component in organizations globally, and without a modern identity vulnerability management solution, organizations will find their legacy tools are comparable to the Dark Ages.”

Research and Market Insights

In October, Anetac released its inaugural Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) Survey Report, which revealed alarming trends in non-human identity vulnerabilities. The report, based on a comprehensive survey of 201 identity security professionals, found that 75% of organizations report the dangerous practice of using service accounts as human accounts or vice versa, while 76% of IT security professionals acknowledged that their service accounts have direct access to their company’s crown jewels.

Global Expansion and Partner Recognition

Anetac’s initial investment has fueled the company’s rapid global expansion, with Anetac establishing a team in the United Kingdom and extending operations into the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.

The company’s strategic expansion has resulted in a diverse global partner network, with 59% of partners in the US, 32% in EMEA, and 8% in APJ. Anetac’s channel initiatives are spearheaded by David Harper, Head of Partner Success, who has been instrumental in cultivating relationships with offensive security organizations with vCISO arms and larger channel partners.

Additionally, earlier this year, Anetac proudly celebrated the achievements of its channel partners and community members with several prestigious awards. These awards recognized the efforts of Anetac’s channel partners in advancing cybersecurity and fostering a strong, collaborative digital environment. By honoring these winners, Anetac highlighted their commitment to excellence, dedication, and innovation in the cybersecurity landscape across different regions:

  • Community Partner of the Year, US: Richey May Cyber
  • Community Partner of the Year, EMEA: Core to Cloud
  • Outstanding Community Contributor, US: Truvantis, Inc.
  • Outstanding Community Contributor, EMEA: LRQA – cybersecurity

Community Building and Industry Leadership

In October 2024, Anetac launched the Anetac Linked Community, the first-ever identity vulnerability community in the market. This collaborative space brings together cybersecurity leaders, practitioners, and researchers to learn and engage with experts around identity vulnerabilities related to human and non-human identities.

Building on this momentum, Anetac announced its first User Group in February 2025, bringing together security professionals from finance, healthcare, retail, and critical infrastructure sectors. The quarterly forum enables members to share best practices, discuss emerging identity vulnerabilities, and collaborate on solutions across industries.

“Security challenges and best practices don’t exist in isolation,” said Baber Amin, Chief Product Officer at Anetac. “The Anetac User Group creates a unique opportunity for professionals across different sectors to share insights, learn from each other’s experiences, and collectively enhance their identity security posture.”

Customer Impact and Future Outlook

Throughout the year, Anetac’s platform has provided customers around the world with specialized expertise, faster implementation times, and enhanced security outcomes.

This month, Anetac introduced the global rollout of Human Link Pro, a powerful new capability that unifies the management of human and non-human identity vulnerabilities and gives customers the ability to proactively mitigate risk.
