“As we enter 2024, the M&A industry is long overdue for a shift into a direction that is more aligned with maintaining the human element in each business. Evergreen has sought to spearhead that shift, by building our business on the idea that once a company joins our group, we will never sell and instead hold the companies forever.
“When acquiring companies, we put an emphasis on allowing them to maintain their identities, culture and voice, something all private equity companies should be making a priority because it provides lasting success for everyone involved. As the year continues, I believe that other holding companies in the industry will see the benefits that come from allowing a business to maintain its personal identity and interpersonal relationships and they too will shift their focus to this more innovative approach.”
