Flexential Deploys Interconnection Mesh Across its Software-Defined Flexential Fabric

FlexAnywhere® platform expands to support scalable multipoint connectivity and consistent performance across distributed environments

DENVER, Colo. – Flexential, a leading provider of secure and flexible data center solutions, has expanded the availability of Interconnection Mesh through Flexential Fabric, enabling customers to provision multipoint transport over a single port with self-service functionality.

Flexential Interconnection Mesh brings multi-site, any-to-any connectivity to the company’s software-defined interconnection portfolio, allowing customers to manage multiple locations through a mesh network accessible via the Flexential Xperience Portal (FXP). The multipoint transport includes the ability to provision and scale highly redundant networks across sites, without manual configurations. Flexential Interconnection Mesh also provides additional design options with Layer 2 and Layer 3 offerings, allowing clients to decide exact control and management over network routing. Once connected, organizations instantly gain access to all other ports on the mesh network.

As digital infrastructure becomes more distributed and operational demands increase, organizations are prioritizing interconnection services that deploy quickly and adapt easily. The shift to fabric-based delivery models reflects a growing preference to have standardized services delivered through a unified interface, with API-level automation that reduces overhead and ensures consistent performance.

The addition of Flexential Interconnection Mesh to Flexential Fabric reflects growing demand for fabric-based solutions that let customers control network provisioning. The approach shortens deployment timelines and gives IT teams the flexibility to adapt network services as requirements shift.

It builds on Flexential Fabric’s existing IP Bandwidth and Data Center Interconnect solutions to create a comprehensive portfolio. It also extends the FlexAnywhere® platform, which unifies colocation, cloud, interconnection, data protection, and professional services across a nationwide infrastructure footprint. The result is faster expansion, real-time control, and scalable performance without the cost and complexity of deploying additional physical circuits.

This innovation continues Flexential’s ongoing expansion of its interconnection and infrastructure offerings, including a connection to the Bifrost subsea cable, a partnership with Lumen Technologies to integrate its Network-as-a-Service platform with the FlexAnywhere platform, and the launches of CloudOps Foundations, FinOps for Public Cloud, and the Security and Optimization Program.
