Interactive, visual tool reveals organized crime networks and accelerates complex investigations by mapping connections
DENVER, Colo. – ForceMetrics, the company behind Velocity – the leading AI-driven platform for precision policing – today announced the launch of its Network Graph feature, a powerful new capability designed to help law enforcement agencies identify and investigate organized retail crime, gang activity and other coordinated criminal networks.
The Network Graph introduces an interactive, visual way for investigators to explore connections between people. The new feature maps individuals directly connected to a selected person and visually displays their associated people based on shared events recorded in agency case data. This intuitive investigative tool allows agencies to spot hidden relationships, identify clustered groups and connect cases across jurisdictions. The Network Graph also helps investigators distinguish between potentially related and unrelated incidents.
“Network Graph is a breakthrough in how law enforcement agencies visualize and act on relationships within their data,” said Andre McGregor, founder and CEO of ForceMetrics. “While other platforms may offer network visualizations, our approach delivers a faster and more actionable view of the relationships that matter most to investigators. The Network Graph helps law enforcement to connect the dots, literally and figuratively, across jurisdictions, enabling agencies to investigate and address complex criminal networks more efficiently.”
Network Graph is the latest addition to ForceMetrics’ growing suite of AI-enhanced investigative tools. By integrating this capability into existing workflows, agencies can enhance situational awareness and pursue stronger leads while reducing investigative time. Investigators can view names and relationships, drill into deeper context and apply filters like role, offense type or related officer safety signals to focus on the most relevant connections. The more events two people share, the thicker the line connecting them, allowing investigators to instantly identify their strongest relationships. The feature uses only existing case and records data from within an agency’s own systems of record, ensuring no reliance on open-source data.
The initial release focuses on direct person-to-person connections and lays the foundation for a more advanced module in the future, with planned expansions to include links with vehicles, events and locations, as well as deeper layers of connection analysis. Founded by retired FBI special agents and law enforcement officers, ForceMetrics has raised $22 million to date and is trusted by agencies across 40 cities in 14 states, serving more than 4.6 million citizens and managing almost a billion records nationwide, to deliver real-time, actionable insights that strengthen decision-making in high-stakes situations.
