CORVALLIS, Ore. — HazAdapt Inc. announces the national launch of ResiliencePoint, a first-of-its-kind analytics platform that helps emergency authorities and safety entities understand how communities engage with emergency information, prepare for threats, and recover after a disaster.
ResiliencePoint is the companion portal to the HazAdapt safety app, giving safety andpreparedness leaders a powerful new window into how the public interacts with resilience resources. Together, these tools foster meaningful engagement between communities and authorities by creating an accessible channel for sharing trusted safety information and generating insights that strengthen preparedness and recovery efforts.
Built for safety and preparedness professionals, ResiliencePoint offers:
- Real-time snapshots of how the public engages with safety tools
- Localized insights across 50+ hazards
- Equity-aware, anonymized analytics to inform planning, response, and recovery
The HazAdapt Community Resilience Ecosystem is already active in Oregon, thanks to an innovative collaboration between Oregon State University Extension Service, local emergency management agencies, public health departments, and HazAdapt. This partnership represents a rare and powerful convergence of public, private, and academic entities working together to build and sustain community resilience.
“Our technology is grounded in service, trust, and bringing organizations together to collaborate toward our shared goal: safer communities,” said Ginny Katz, CEO and Head of Innovation at HazAdapt. “Seeing so many different organizations join forces for collective resilience is a clear sign of progress and a reason for real hope. We’re stepping up to build lasting infrastructure that supports everyone in our beautiful state and shows what’s possible for others working to strengthen their own communities.
The HazAdapt safety app, used by the public since 2021, delivers inclusive, always-ready guidance for emergency situations. Widely shared by preparedness leaders, the app helps fill critical gaps in alerting systems by providing just-in-time safety instructions—both online and offline—through its extensive Hazard Guide. Now, with the addition of ResiliencePoint, safety entities can visualize how communities are engaging with these resources and identify where additional preparedness and recovery support is needed.
HazAdapt’s technologies are built on Humanity-Friendly principles, prioritizing ethical design, strong data privacy principles, and tools that promote adaptability without contributing to alert fatigue or exploiting public attention
The HazAdapt app is free on iOS and Android, offering offline-ready, hazard-specific safety information to everyone.
HazAdapt invites public safety professionals across the country to explore how ResiliencePoint can support their communities in building a stronger, more connected future.
