HVM achieved perfect safety record in 2018
COLUMBUS, Ohio – High Voltage Maintenance Corporation (HVM), a subsidiary of Vertiv, recently received two industry safety awards for 2018, after a year without a single reportable safety incident and no lost time due to injury. HVM visits more than 1,200 customer sites in the Midwest and New England, performing electrical testing, maintenance and engineering services.
The Occupational Excellence Achievement Award from the National Safety Council (NSC)recognizes organizations with injury and illness records better than or equal to 50% of the Bureau of Labor Statistics for their NAICS code. NECA’s Recognition of Safety Achievement program honors member companies with outstanding achievement in workplace safety and health. For 2018, HVM received the Safety Excellence award, NECA’s premier recognition for overall safety performance, along with Zero-Injury recognition for completing a full calendar year without recordable safety incidents.

HVM maintains a rigorous safety training program for its team members. All field employees must complete OSHA safety training as a condition of employment and also complete 30 hours of refresher training every year.
