Infinite Blue Names Jason Jackson Vice President of Customer Experience

by Jon Seals | June 2, 2021 | | 0 comments

Longtime customer joins the Infinite Blue Crew bringing 25-years of business continuity planning, emergency response and innovations experience to newly-created customer-centric role

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Infinite Blue, a leading provider of business continuity/disaster recovery planning and response management software, has named Jason Jackson to the newly-created position of Vice President of Customer Experience. Jason is a highly respected executive and thought leader in security, safety and crisis management and is appreciated for his ability to bring people together when developing innovative, forward-thinking strategies.

In his role as the Vice President of Customer Experience, Jason will develop customer experience excellence by driving holistic thinking and making continual progress with customer alignment throughout Infinite Blue. Working closely with Product Management, Customer Success, and Account Management, he will be the consistent voice of the customer throughout Infinite Blue.

“Our customer-centric mindset blended with Jason’s experience will make it effortless for customers to accomplish their goals when using our products and services,” said Frank Shultz, Chairman and CEO of Infinite Blue. “Having seen firsthand Jason’s vision for a comprehensive business continuity program on the customer side, I know he will make an immediate impact on our business and the companies we serve. Jason is constantly working at the leading edge of crisis management. This, combined with his enthusiasm for helping others succeed, makes him custom-made for this vital role and a natural addition to the Infinite Blue Crew.”

Most recently, Jason served as the Chief Security Officer for the Great American Outdoors Group, which includes popular brands in retail, hospitality and manufacturing in the US and Canada such as Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, Big Cedar Lodge and White River Marine Group among others. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of security, safety, asset protection, cybersecurity, investigations and portions of regulatory compliance. While at Great American Outdoors Group, Jason implemented his vision for security, safety, compliance and designing/deploying holistic strategies, building and maturing programs, fostering improved data quality and tech platforms. He also guided the company through several challenging events including COVID-19, civil unrest, natural disasters and an active threat/shooter event.

Prior to Great American Outdoors Group, Jason served his second stint at Walmart, Inc. as the Senior Director, Emergency Management and was charged with evolving how Walmart plans for and manages global crises. During his first tour, Jason transformed the BC/DR organization from its near genesis to a globally recognized center of excellence by helping to formalize business continuity planning processes, preparedness and public-private partnership initiatives, recovery efforts as well as crisis monitoring and response.

At Walmart, Jason’s division was responsible for mitigation, preparing, planning and orchestrating response and recovery efforts for all forms of business disruptions globally. This included natural and

manmade disasters, security related issues, significant epidemiological issues, and other emergencies, such as multiple hurricanes, active shooter/threat events and large-scale crises.

“Joining the Infinite Blue Crew is like coming home,” said Jackson. “When I was an Infinite Blue customer, I always enjoyed working alongside this passionate team because they were willing to dream big about what was possible and were not satisfied with what was already done. I’m committed to creating robust leading-edge platforms and applications that customers can easily use to build and maintain resilient organizations. This is imperative for meeting the demands of the higher velocity chaotic environments of today and tomorrow,” he added.

Jason has also held several leadership positions at Walmart International and Sam’s Club in innovations, transformation, and strategy, overseeing development, implementation and change management of key initiatives across multiple formats and business units in the US and Latin America. Prior to beginning his career at Walmart, Jason worked as a trooper/special agent for the Arkansas State Police and an Assistant Chief for the Sylvan Hills Fire Department.

In addition to his corporate work, Jason has served on several governmental and private boards, committees and work groups related to private sector emergency management and business continuity related topics. Currently, he is a board member of Compassion NWA/Feed the 479, which serves community needs in Northwest Arkansas.
