InterVision Hires Mike Shea as AVP, Cloud Services

by Jon Seals | December 19, 2019 | | 0 comments

Enterprise technology executive takes on new role at leading strategic service provider

Santa Clara, Calif. and St. Louis, Mo.— December 19, 2019 — InterVision, a leading IT strategic service provider, today announced that Mike Shea has joined the company as AVP, Cloud Services to oversee the company’s continued success with its cloud services and public sector delivery teams.

InterVision provides various cloud services across numerous industries, recently earning AWS Premier Consulting Partner status, recognizing the company’s investment, expertise and extensive experience deploying cloud solutions on AWS to achieve successful client outcomes. Shea will be overseeing the national engineering teams who will be responsible for cloud services and large IT project deployments.

“As the leading strategic service provider in the cloud services market, InterVision is committed to providing proven technical leaders with deep experience and knowledge to lead and deliver our cloud and technology-based services,” said Scott Drossos, Chief Operating Officer at InterVision. “Mike’s extensive experience will be key in helping our cloud services team and clients keep their competitive edge while conquering their unique business challenges.”

Shea brings to InterVision extensive experience with the latest cloud and digital technologies. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and CTO for the Health and Human Services (HHS) business unit of Accenture Products and Platforms. During his tenure, Shea utilized the latest cloud and digital technology to redesign existing and incubate new software products and services to enable HHS State clients. These digitized solutions were augmented and enabled by data analytics, AI and automation to deliver additional business value. Shea also has experience in various other verticals including federal government, products, resources, insurance, communications, pharma and financial services.

According to Gartner, the worldwide public cloud services market is forecasted to grow 17% in 2020 to a total of $266.4 billion. Shea’s unique set of experiences will equip InterVision with the tools and insights necessary to continue success as a major player in the cloud space and differentiate products and services as a strategic service provider.

“Taking on this new role with InterVision allows me a unique opportunity to apply my expertise from years in the cloud industry to provide clients hands-on experience with all of their cloud service needs,” said Shea. “Mine and InterVision’s shared passion for depth and breadth of technology is what attracted me to this opportunity and I am looking forward to applying my previous experience and knowledge of the space to InterVision’s already outstanding team and contributing to the ongoing success of the organization.”

This appointment comes on the heels of InterVision’s recent acquisitions of SeyVu and Fotis Networks. With an aggressive growth strategy in place, InterVision remains focused on its efforts to drive value to clients and industry practitioners.
