Spencer recognized by Indianapolis community for his exceptional professional contributions, energy and attitude, and community commitment
SANTA CLARA, Calif. and ST. LOUIS, Mo. – InterVision, a leading IT strategic service provider, today announced that Pat Spencer, Area Vice President, Public Sector and East Commercial, was selected as a 2019 TechPoint Tech 25 Award Winner. Sponsored by the Indianapolis Business Journal and the growth accelerator TechPoint, this award honors a small group of exceptional performers helping to grow the Indy community’s tech and tech-enabled companies.
Now in its fifth year, the Tech 25 Awards honor a prestigious selection of twenty-five individuals at local technology companies who demonstrates valuable characteristics that drive their company and community forward. Tech 25 Award Winners are star performers and committed team players.
Spencer’s 25-year sales career has spanned across financial services, motorsports and technology. He started his career working for Bank One (now Chase Bank), where he was awarded Manager of the Year. As a sales representative for Baker Hill, he was recognized as an Eagle Award winner for surpassing his quota twice and was quickly promoted to management. Spencer joined Bluelock Solutions in 2014 as Regional Account Executive. Following InterVision’s acquisition of Bluelock in early 2018, Spencer led an initiative to create the Strategic Solutions Team to deliver enterprise solutions for the Sales organization. Earlier this year, Pat received the Portfolio Sales Person of the Year award for his leadership and client service. Pat was recently promoted to Area Vice President, Public Sector and East Commercial. Based in InterVision’s offices in Indianapolis, he is responsible for expanding the company’s sales team in these markets.
“Pat’s approach to business is differentiated and creates a competitive advantage for our company,” said Bob Hollander, Senior Vice President, Services & Business Development at InterVision. “Not only does Pat have a positive outlook, but he also exudes contagious confidence that builds trust with coworkers, business partners and clients. On many occasions, it’s been Pat’s demeanor, steady hand, and ability to connect with clients that has helped us to break through on tough issues or create opportunities to enter into new relationships. I cannot think of another individual more deserving of this recognition.”
Spencer brings his passion for technology, mentoring and empowering others to his community involvement. In the past decade, he has donated his talent and dollars to Coburn Place, Indy Teacher TechConnect, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, and LifeBridge Community.
“Leadership is about serving others, whether it is your family, business or the community,” said Spencer. “I have been blessed in my life with great parents, coaches, mentors and managers, and now I look for opportunities to help others. I’m especially proud of my volunteer work at LifeBridge Community and also working to educate teachers on technology careers through Indy Teacher TechConnect. InterVision supports my mission to give back through these various initiatives and to make a difference in the local community.”
