NWN Wins Comparably Awards for Best Places to Work in Boston and Best Company Outlook

by DRJ Editorial Team | April 8, 2021 | | 0 comments

WALTHAM, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–NWN Corporation, a leading Cloud Communications Service Provider (CCSP) delivering solutions for today’s work-from-anywhere environment, today announced it has been recognized as a “Best Place to Work in Boston” and “Best Company Outlook” in the latest ranking released by Comparably, a compensation, culture and career monitoring website. With these new additions, NWN has won a total of 7 Comparably awards to date, including “Best Work-Life Balance” and “Best Company Culture.”

Over the past year, NWN has transformed the employee experience, focusing on empowerment and community involvement through increased professional development opportunities, supporting online concerts during the pandemic and socially distant company-wide events. For its customer success center employees, NWN has added innovative shift bending solutions, where a team lead allows for bidding on different shifts throughout the week.

“We’re proud of the company culture we’ve built at NWN, but we understand it has been a difficult year for everyone. We’re honored that our employees still have such high remarks and confidence in the future of NWN,” said NWN’s CEO Jim Sullivan. “NWN is constantly striving to be a leading workplace for top talent in the country. We strive for our employees to feel empowered to grow alongside the company, and these award wins solidify our success in that mission.”

Feedback from NWN employees about its award-winning culture on Comparably includes:

  • “The new NWN cares about its employees and values their customer relationships. They listen to feedback and are always striving to be better.”
  • “NWN is an overall incredible company to work at with great pay. Everyone has the goal of working together to build the best company we can.”
  • “The experience is unlike any other. I have worked at 3 companies similar to NWN and the culture that has been created is unmatched. I feel comfortable with my team members both when things are going well or not going well. I am well taken care of financially and very pleased with management.”

“Once again NWN proves to be among the top-rated organizations in Boston,” said Comparably CEO Jason Nazar. “Employees have remained optimistic about the future success of the business, even amidst the challenges of the pandemic, which is a testament to its strong leadership team. They have remained flexible, innovative, and focused on maintaining company culture excellence.”
