OTAVA Moves its Headquarters to Indianapolis

by Jon Seals | June 10, 2025 | | 0 comments

Nationwide Cloud Service Provider Supports Indiana’s Growing Tech Ecosystem

INDIANAPOLIS – OTAVA®, a leader in secure and compliant multi-cloud solutions, today announced that it has relocated its headquarters from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Indianapolis, Indiana. The move reflects OTAVA’s commitment to innovation and growth in a region that’s quickly becoming a national tech hub.

“We’re thrilled to officially announce our new headquarters location in Indianapolis, where the tech ecosystem is rapidly expanding and attracting major players in cloud, cybersecurity, data services, and artificial intelligence,” said TJ Houske, CEO of OTAVA. “We’ve had a strong presence here for years, giving us an excellent foundation to grow more partnerships, expand our network, and amplify our visibility both regionally and nationally. This move also follows exciting new developments with our Indy-based partners like Scale Computing, making us especially energized for what’s ahead.”

Originally founded more than 30 years ago in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as Online Tech, OTAVA has since grown, rebranded, and evolved significantly into a leading cloud service provider with a focus on data resilience, security, and compliance. With operations across the U.S. and Europe, the decision to relocate its headquarters to Indianapolis was driven by key business partnerships, the skilled IT talent pool, and the city’s strong technology community.

OTAVA currently partners with several local business organizations, associations, and technology corporations including Scale Computing, TechPoint, the Indiana Chamber, and the Indiana Hospital Association. Additionally, OTAVA’s downtown Indianapolis Tier 3 data center serves a robust local customer base. OTAVA’s CEO and several members of the company’s data center operations, technical, business development, and marketing teams are already based in Indianapolis, and the company anticipates further growth at its headquarters office.

“We are thrilled to welcome OTAVA to Indianapolis, where they will continue to help shape the future of the digital innovation economy in the Midwest while becoming firmly rooted in this community,” said Ting Gootee, president and CEO, TechPoint. “Not only is OTAVA a highly successful business and growing employer, but it delivers critical cloud, data protection, and security services that organizations need now more than ever. Indianapolis is the perfect place for OTAVA to expand, and we look forward to being a part of their journey.”

OTAVA’s portfolio of data protection, edge computing, and secure and compliant multi-cloud solutions is powered by industry-leading technologies. With a human-centered approach, OTAVA offers purpose-built solutions ensuring seamless cloud migrations, advanced data protection, and scalable infrastructure. Solutions are designed to meet each client’s unique needs while prioritizing security and data protection and helping them unlock their full potential in the cloud.
