US Signal, today announced general availability of DRaaS for VMware, its new Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) solution running on VMware technologies

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. (PRWEB) – US Signal, a leading data center services provider, today announced general availability of DRaaS for VMware, its new Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) solution running on VMware technologies. Powered by VMware vCloud Availability, the offering is a unified solution built to offer simple, more secure, and cost-effective onboarding, migration, and disaster recovery services for multi-tenant VMware clouds. US Signal makes it easy for organizations of all sizes to have their workloads protected from unexpected events.

“Enterprises are still striving to find a way to best leverage cloud provider infrastructure for disaster recovery. With vCloud Availability, there’s now a turnkey solution to effectively implement, monitor, test, and execute on a disaster recovery plan with a technology that’s purpose-built for the VMware stack. With DR operations simplified, customers are now gleaning the benefits of consuming the US Signal managed cloud infrastructure and complementing services,” explained Steve Oyer, president at US Signal.

Cloud-based disaster recovery is one of the fastest-growing industry segments for cloud services. VMware vCloud Availability gives cloud providers the ability to capitalize on this demand and deliver increased choice to end users. Additionally, as enterprises increasingly implement a hybrid cloud strategy, vCloud Availability provides an opportunity for cloud providers to deliver simple, integrated migration and onboarding services to the cloud and from cloud to cloud.

“DRaaS for VMware, based on VMware vCloud Availability, enables US Signal to offer robust business continuity to organizations of all sizes,” said Rajeev Bhardwaj, VP, Products, VMware Cloud Providers. US Signal’s DRaaS for VMware empowers companies to recover data quickly and avoid business outages when a man-made or natural disaster strikes.”
