Unlocking Resilience

How resilient is your organization? Current and past incidents teach us that business disruptions, crises, and disasters occur far more frequently than previously imagined. Last year’s massive winter storm on the East Coast, widespread flooding in the Midwest, the Manchester (U.K.) arena suicide bombing, global malware attacks, and Zika virus transmission remind us of our true vulnerability to natural and man-made threats. Unlocking resilience within your organization is the key to surviving these and other types of surprising, uncertain, or unstable events. What is organizational resilience? Academic literature offers differing perspectives on what organizational resilience means.
