Days of Summer

I don’t know about you, but I kind of miss summer. The long relaxing days, the quieter days at the office, the long weekends and vacations. There is something to be said for the time to sit back and appreciate how lucky we are professionally and personally. It’s also a time to reflect and think about how things used to be. We might remember our childhood summers or even think about our early professional years. Do you remember when business continuity and disaster recovery were concepts that most organizations and departments really had never heard of, let alone considered for themselves? I do. But now, here in 2014, we’re really seeing the fruition of the handwork and steadfast attitude that has resulted in organizations and individuals understanding how vital business continuity and disaster recovery are both professionally and personally.
