Survey Highlights Disconnect Between Disaster Recovery Strategy, Plans, and Real-Time Client Preparedness

Written by  Daniel Jacobson

At one point your organization is going to experience some form of data loss. This can occur in a number of ways, whether through some sort of hardware or software failure, malware on your network, or an event out of your control such as a natural disaster, extended power outage, or perhaps something more sinister. When this happens, you may only lose a few files, but you could also lose an entire server or even a datacenter, along with all of your critical data. Regardless of the scenario, it is critical to not just have a disaster recovery plan, but to also be sure that you are properly prepared for an outage at all times.
