This means coloring outside the lines, on the box, bringing color to the grey areas of life and business where greatness lies and legendary career moves are made … AI simply cannot do.
  • Reasoning lives in the gray – Regulatory compliance isn’t always black and white. It often demands interpretation, discretion, and the ability to make defensible decisions during times of ambiguity. In moments that call for nuance, AI cannot calculate the reason to the method, much less why the madness need occur to achieve the correct outcome. As mentioned previously, this is an area where AI has a cognitive breakdown. Only seasoned, human professionals can navigate these moments, seeing over the horizon with strategic foresight and the accountability leadership demands.

In the hands of an expert, AI can be a force multiplier. Without expertise, AI is not a tool, but merely another tech stack liability. The hallucination isn’t just about output; it’s the belief the machine understands what it’s doing.
