ORLANDO, Fla. – Disaster Recovery Journal celebrated its 70th conference March 17-20, at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, with DRJ Spring 2024: Unleashing the Power of Resilience.

“We extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who helped us host the largest, most successful, and longest-running business continuity event in the world,” said Bob Arnold, president of DRJ. “Your dedication and support mean the world to us!”

With more than 500 in-person attendees, 100 online, and another 200 vendors in-house, Orlando was, once again, the center of the business resilience industry.

“Although AI again dominated many discussions, we were able to focus on so much more,” said Arnold. “The move toward operational resiliency is crucial for our discipline as it recognizes how business processes, technology, and risk management are interconnected.

“In today’s dynamic environment, organizations encounter various challenges like cyber threats, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes. Relying solely on traditional disaster recovery and business continuity planning is inadequate in addressing these complex issues.

Attendees were able to take home several nuggets of information on those topics and more, along with making vital industry connections with colleagues from around the world. Attendees were also able to visit all the industry’s leading vendors at DRJ’s expo floor.

Fusion Risk Management, OnSolve, and Perpetuuiti were platinum sponsors of the event. Gold sponsors included Infinite Blue and Preparis with silver sponsors 4C Strategies, Agility Recovery, AlertMedia, eBRP Solutions, Flexential, IWG, and Kyndryl. Assured Data Protection, CLDigital, Clumio, Mazars, MorganFranklin Consulting, Premier Continuum, Pronto Recovery, Recovery Point Systems, Samdesk, Specialized Data Systems, StormGeo, and Veoci were all bronze sponsors of the event.

“As always, I want to thank our great sponsors,” said Arnold. “We wouldn’t be able to do any of this without their continued support.”

DRJ Fall 2024: Building Tomorrow’s Resilience Today will take place Sept. 8-11, 2024, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. Register today with the discount code “LOWEST” for another discount on top of our lowest early-bird rate.
