DRJ Spring 2026 Showcases Innovation Through Idea Labs and Masterclasses

ORLANDO – DRJ Spring 2026, held March 15-18 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld®, brought together resilience professionals from across the globe for a dynamic and forward-looking conference. The event welcomed 650 attendees on site, along with another 100 participants online, reinforcing the continued growth and reach of the DRJ community.

Elevating Learning Through New Formats

This year’s conference stood out for its expanded focus on innovative learning formats, particularly the highly successful idea labs and masterclasses. These sessions offered attendees more interactive, in-depth opportunities to explore complex challenges and collaborate on practical solutions.

The idea labs encouraged open dialogue and creative problem-solving, allowing participants to engage directly with peers and experts in a more informal, discussion-driven setting. Meanwhile, the masterclasses delivered deep dives into critical topics, equipping attendees with actionable insights they could immediately apply within their organizations.

Together, these formats represented a meaningful evolution in how DRJ delivers education—moving beyond traditional presentations to create more immersive and impactful experiences.

Fresh Perspectives and New Voices

“DRJ Spring 2026 was a defining event for us,” said Bob Arnold, president of Disaster Recovery Journal. “Through our partnership with The BCI, we intentionally brought in new voices, speakers who aren’t part of the traditional BC/DR circuit, and the result was nine incredibly high-quality sessions filled with fresh perspectives and real-world insights. Combined with the success of our new masterclasses and idea labs, and the continued strength of our sponsor and exhibitor partnerships, it’s clear our community is evolving in all the right ways as we approach our 75th conference this fall.”

Community and Collaboration

Beyond the sessions, DRJ Spring 2026 once again demonstrated that its greatest strength lies in its community. Attendees connected through a variety of networking opportunities, sharing experiences, exchanging ideas, and building relationships that extend well beyond the conference.

“What continues to set DRJ apart is the strength of our community,” Arnold said. “Our sponsors and exhibitors aren’t just participants, they are true partners in shaping the experience, and that collaboration was on full display throughout DRJ Spring.”

The exhibit hall featured leading solution providers in the resilience space, giving attendees direct access to the latest tools, technologies, and services designed to strengthen their programs.

Sponsors and Supporters

DRJ Spring 2026 was made possible through the support of its sponsors. Platinum sponsors included Fusion Risk Management and Everbridge. Gold sponsors were Crisis24 and Recovery Point. Silver sponsors included AlertMedia, BDO, Cutover, eBRP Solutions, Flexential, Fortiv, Global Risk Consultants, HPE, IBM, IMS inc., KETCHConsulting, MEO Continuity, and Mitratech. Looking Ahead

“As we look ahead to our 75th conference this fall, we’re incredibly grateful for the community that has grown with us,” Arnold said. “DRJ Spring 2026 showed what’s possible when we bring together new voices, new formats, and strong partnerships, and we’re just getting started.”

The next conference, DRJ Fall 2026, is scheduled for Sept. 27-30 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas. Attendees are encouraged to make plans early to be part of this milestone event.
